New video has just been released of the terrifying plane crash that killed one person off the coast of Hawaii last month. As you can see when the video starts, nobody knew anything was happening until the buzzer alarm goes off. By that time the plane was only a few feet off the water, as you can clearly see as the camera rolls and shows the ocean rapidly approaching.
The rest of the video, shot by passenger Ferdinand Puentes, 39, shows the passengers calmly trying to exit the plane as water rushes in. The remaining bit of the video shows the passengers outside the plane grabbing on to anything they can to stay afloat, mostly plane debris.
The plane was headed to Honolulu coming from Moloka’i with nine people on board. Hawaii’s state health director, Loretta Fuddy, 65, was the only fatality. The rest of the passengers were rescued. Check out the video for yourself now.
