Tree Lightings and Displays
Chaminade University
Through December, enjoy the beautiful sights of holiday lights and decorations on campus, mainly fronting the Clarence T.C. Ching Hall and Henry Hall, throughout the day and night, 3140 Waialae Ave.
Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa
5 p.m. Saturday in the hotel’s Great Hall, 2424 Kalakaua Ave. Features a guest performer and charitable giving celebration with Make-A-Wish Foundation of Hawaii. Call 923-1234.
“Light Up the Holidays”
Castle Medical Center’s annual tree-lighting ceremony, 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, 640 Ulukahiki St., Kailua. A Christmas concert kicks off the event at 6:30 p.m., followed by the tree lighting and Santa’s arrival at 7 p.m. Enjoy trolley rides, Santa parade, picture-taking with Santa and Mrs. Claus and other characters, keiki activities and holiday concert by Vaihi. Parking available at Kailua High School and in the Macy’s/Longs Drugs parking area in Kailua Town with shuttle service from 5 to 9 p.m.; no parking allowed on Manu Aloha Street. Call 263-5400.
11th annual Kapolei City Lights Celebration
5 to 9 p.m. Dec. 10, Kapolei Hale. Christmas tree-lighting ceremony with West Oahu Holiday Electric Light Parade (begins 6 p.m.), food, free keiki games and entertainment.
