The 501(c)3 faith-based nonprofit “Convoy of Hope” will be in Hawaii this weekend and will do what they do best, give away free things to those in need.
The Convoy of Hope will be in three locations this Saturday and this will allow them to cover most all island residents in need. Here are the three locations, so pick the one that is closest to you.
Convoy of Hope Locations
- Honolulu: At McKinley High School on 1039 South King Street.
- Leeward: At the Kapolei Fairgrounds across the street from the new Walmart.
- Windward: Kailua District Park on Kainalu Drive.
All activities will start at 10 a.m. and there will be all sorts of things going on. The Convoy of Hope will be giving away all sorts of free items and services this Saturday. There is a little something for everyone in need so I encourage you all to take advantage.
Free Services Offered
As stated above, all types of free services and items will be offered for those that need it most. Some of the major things include:
- Free Cancer Screenings
- Groceries
- Health Fair
- Kids Zone
- Haircuts
- Job Fair
- Family Portraits
- Community Services
- Live Entertainment
- BBQ Lunch
All the things above will be free and several things will be offered within each category. A great example would be the free community services section. There will be a number of community service organizations there to assist people with all types of needs.
What is Convoy of Hope?
Simply stated, the Convoy of Hope is a big community outreach that brings local churches, businesses and organizations together to honor, help and give hope to those in need. They are a 501(c)3 faith-based nonprofit that was founded in 1994 and has served more than 52 MILLION people throughout the world through international children’s feeding initiatives, community outreaches, disaster response and partner resourcing.
Basically this thing is a can’t miss, especially if you and/or your family are in need of something. The program is built to help so get out to one of the locations and take advantage of all the things that are being offered.
