Makahiku Falls
This is one of two waterfall hikes of the Oheo Gulch and is about 2 miles roundtrip. There, water cascades down tall, green cliffs into crystal clear pools. These are the kind of travel photos everyone wishes they could take!
Waihee Ridge Trail
This trail is five miles long and recommended for the experienced hiker. Once you climb the 1,500 feet to the top of Lanilili Peak, the views are just breathtaking. Come prepared with the right gear and some water, and don’t forget your camera for this hike! You don’t want to miss out on the chance for some great panoramic shots.
Haleakala, Sliding Sands Trail
Located in the Haleakala National Park, beginning at the summit of the carter, is another trail ideal for experienced hikers. At ten miles long, preparation for this hike is vital. The views are unique, as is the ecosystem; make sure you have a fully charged battery for this hike, for yourself and your camera!
