The 31st annual Hawaii Film Festival is almost here again. HIFF kicks off on Oct. 13 and wraps up on Oct. 23 and is presented by Halekulani. The main attraction this year will be the Hawaii premiere of “The Descendants,” written by Kaui Hart Hemmings and starring George Clooney.
Tickets are now on sale for HIFF Ohana members and ticket sales for the general public start Monday, October 3rd. The HIFF box office is located inside the Regal Dole Cannery Stadium 18 & IMAX lobby. You can stop by in person or call 808-447-0577 from 11am – 6pm from Sept 29 to Oct 12, and from 11am to the start of the last show during the actual festival dates (Oct 13-23).
This year marks the 31st year that HIFF has been showcasing local movies on a national level. There are some amazing movies lined up for this year. There are over 200 films from 45 countries represented this year! Certain films to sell out fast, and HIFF members get the first shot at acquiring tickets to them.
