On December 31st, 2012 there is going to be one of the biggest New Year’s Eve parties around thrown right here in Hawaii. The third annual 2012 New Year’s Eve Party at Kaka’ako Park will be taking place. Celebrate the coming of the New Year with the biggest and baddest New Year’s Eve party in Hawaii.
With tons of attractions, and six areas of non-stop fun, the 2012 New Year’s Eve Party of the Year at Kaka’ako Park is definitely the place to be. Below you will find all the info needed to get there and enjoy the party properly so check it out!

MAJOR ATTRACTIONS
FIREWORKS!
The fireworks at the “Party of the Year” at Kaka’ako Waterfront Park on New Years Eve will be one that cannot be matched by any other in town! Firework shows will go off every hour until the $25,000 finale hits at midnight. The selected launching point for the firework show will be so close that the firework explosions will be directly above your head. Being that we are a full outdoor festival, everyone in attendance will have a 100% view of the firework show! Also, every other firework show from Waikiki to Waianae can be seen from Kaka’ako Waterfront Park, so this will truly be a one of a kind firework show!
REDBULL SKYDIVERS
Make sure you are around to witness a one of a kind experience as the REDBULL AIRCRAFT SKYDIVERS swoop in to the New Year’s Eve “Party of the Year!” at Kaka’ako Waterfront Park. The REDBULL AIRCRAFT SKYDIVERS will be geared up in glow suits and pyrotechnic suits and launching from airplanes above the festival. Their landing place? Right next to you! EAT THE STREET
There will be a free area for the public that will feature the monthly installment of EAT THE STREET. The EAT THE STREET BLOCK PARTY (area 1 and 2) will play host to over 30 food trucks, live entertainment, DJs, fire dancers, a beer garden, and awesome views of the firework show.
THE CONCERT
The CONCERT stage at the “Party of the Year!” will be featuring a phenomenal line up of over 10 bands, including the CD Release Party & 20th Anniversary celebration for international superstar FIJI. Joining him on stage will be Rebel Souljahz, Mana’o Company, Irie Love, Kaipo Kapua, and many more!
LED FERRIS WHEEL
You know that big old ferris wheel at the local fair? Yah, we don’t have that one….but we do have one that is newly laced with LED lights that will be right in the middle of the party! Ride the ferris wheel and see views of fireworks that you have never seen before, or just stand back and be mesmerized by the power of a gigantic glowing machine at work!
LAZER-WORKS
LAZER-WORKS (area 5). National Star DJ LAZRTAG will be spinning the hottest in electronic & dub step while everyone speeds up the pace with luminous light shows and lasers! Keep tuned into nyehawaii.com because a MAJOR NATIONAL RECORDING ARTIST may be added on as a co-headliner at LAZER-WORKS
VIP EXPERIENCE
21 & older can upgrade to a VIP experience like no other. Choose between the PARTY PLATFORM (area 7) or the CONCERT CABANAS (area 8). The PARTY PLATFORM is an elevated area for partying with you and your friends situated smack-dab in the middle of the park. This PARTY PLATFORM has prime views of all stages and the fireworks. The CONCERT CABANA is an exclusive section reserved for you and your friends that puts you as close as you can get to THE CONCERT. THE CONCERT features great views of the bands, fireworks and more. Whichever VIP location you choose, you and your VIP guests will be styled out with dedicated VIP cocktail & food servers. Each booth buy will come with selected bottles of alcohol and a variety of menus to choose from your favorite food trucks. Personal service is yours all night…

*Limited VIP tables and CONCERT CABANAS available (must be 21+). VIP ticket holders will have an all access pass to the “Party of the Year!” We have set up VIP ONLY areas that have the best view in the house for all of the festivities including the fireworks! Each VIP ONLY area will feature a well stocked and serviced bar along with dedicated bathrooms so that you don’t have to wait in that potentially long beverage and bathroom line. VIP ticket holders will also have their own entry to the “Party of the Year!”. With an expected crowd of 12,000+, the General Admission line may be crazy at times.
