A 45-year-old Mokuleia skydiver suffered a broken left ankle this morning upon landing at Dillingham Air Field in Mokuleia. The man was a client of Pacific Sky Diving and had jumped alone from about 14,000 feet, a company spokesman said.
He was taken to a hospital following the 9:46 a.m. incident, a city emergency management service spokeswoman said. The man’s injuries are not life threatening, but it goes to show you that sometimes jumping alone is not a good idea.
