First High Surf Advisory of Winter Issued for North and West Shores
The first real high surf advisory for the winter of 2012 in Hawaii has been issued by the National Weather Service. Surf could reach as high as 18 feet along north-facing shores of all islands and 14 feet along west facing shores due to a northwest swell, the National Weather Service said.
