There were funnel clouds over central Oahu yesterday, as police reported several people pulling to the side of the road to take pictures of the phenomenon in the Wahiawa area on Wednesday afternoon.
The National Weather Service has reported that weather conditions in the islands are exactly what is needed for funnel clouds to develop. The NWS also stated that another funnel cloud could appear today, as the weather will remain hot and humid.
The hot and humid weather should subside some this weekend and you can expect the usual windward and mauka showers to return to the islands this weekend.
