All of us in Hawaii know that we are right in the middle of many possible devastating hurricanes. While we have been lucky enough to dodge any major ones for quite some time, events like Hurricane Sandy serve to remind us that we have been very lucky and blessed over the last decade. These pictures are a reminder of what could happen in Hawaii at any time. Our thoughts and prayers go to all of the more than 6 million people that have been devastated because of this massive storm.
