We have all seen and/or heard of the massive Great White Sharks that fly out of the water from time to time to devour their prey. That being said, this video is not from National Geographic or Shark Week. During a Mako fishing tournament some contestants hooked a Mako shark and got a lot more then they bargained for. It seemed this giant Mako had no intentions of even being a part of the catch and release tournament.
What you see below is an estimated 10 foot Mako shark with a weight of 500-800 pounds flying out of the water in an effort to “not participate” in this tournament. The video is quite stunning, as the shark leaps out of the water a total of 9 times! As suspected, the men on the boat are going nuts and are as excited and fascinated as any of us would be in the same situation. Needless to say, they had no intentions of bringing that shark on the boat.
Enjoy the video!
