More than two dozen lovely young ladies will compete for the crown and title of 2015 Miss Hawaii. The annual Miss Hawaii Scholarship Pageant will be held at the Hawaii Convention Center. The winner will represent Hawaii in the Miss America contest in September.
The pageant will be broadcast live on OC16 starting at 7 p.m. Saturday. Hawaii News Now “Sunrise” co-host Steve Uyehara will emcee with assistance from former Miss Hawaii Malika Dudley, who will cover the backstage action. Entertainment includes Ho‘okena, Maila & Ben, and 24-VII Danceforce.
The nontelevised pre-show festivities at 6 p.m. will feature anniversary performances by former crown winners Roberta Conlan (50th year), Cheryl Toma Sanders (25th year) and Dudley (10th year). Meet the women below. Scroll through the gallery to view them.
