The rock band Bush will play at the Hawaii-Five-O Sunset on the Beach premiere this year. This according to an announcement CBS made. The Hawaii Five-O premieres and Sunset on the Beach have become a huge deal in Hawaii and they only continue to get bigger.
First made popular by the show LOST, Sunset on the Beach has only gained in popularity over the years and now it seems it is an all out event every time it happens.
The outdoor concert September 13 on Queen’s Surf Beach will follow the red-carpet arrival of the show’s cast and the advance screening of the new season’s first episode. Hawaii Five-O is filmed on location in Hawaii and has become a huge hit for CBS, despite dropping some in the ratings.
Bush is quite a get for Sunset on the Beach. The band is popular around the world, having sold over 10 million albums in the United States alone. The band is made up comprising singer/guitarist Gavin Rossdale, guitarist Chris Traynor, drummer Robin Goodridge, and bassist Corey Britz. Their second album “Razorblade Suitcase” was Billboard’s No. 1 album in 1996.
The Hawaii Five-O cast and crew will be shooting the shows 100th episode the week of the event, so this Sunset on the beach premiere fits nicely and will be a celebration f that as well. CBS studio executives and others will also be in town to mark the event.
Sunset on the Beach is now a full-blown tradition, so make sure you get out to see the concert and experience the show. Come early, cause it will be packed.
