It moves you in a way that will encourage you to dig deep in the most darkest hours of your life. Imagine losing one of your important parts of your body and not being able to do the one thing you love the most. For Bethany, it was surfing. The dreams of being a professional surfer, wiped away by a shark taking one of her arms. Through perserverance, her family, her friends, and the grace of God, she finds her inner strength to move forward and get right back on that surf board!Does she experience failures? Yes, but she also never gave up. She is an inspiration to many. Not just young people who are aspiring to be the best, but also to those who may be walking right now in their “Valley of Death.”Bethany holds strong to a bible verse, Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know that plans I have for you….” (NIV).
