Brianna Acosta Wins Miss Hawaii USA 2013

The Miss Hawaii USA and Miss Teen Hawaii USA Pageants were held this past weekend. Brianna Acosta, the 2009 Waialua High School graduate was crowned Miss Hawaii USA for 2013. Miss Hawaii Teen USA went to Samantha Neyland. The 2013 pageant at the Ala Moana Hotel on Sunday, Oct. 21.

Acosta currently studies journalism and political science as a senior at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. In addition to her studies at UH, Acosta also works as a model and is a social media intern at AT&T. Her hobbies include robotics, dancing hula and water sports. Samantha Neyland, 17, moved to Hawaii in July 2011 and is a senior at Moanalua High School.

Brianna Acosta will now go on to represent Hawaii in the Miss USA Pageant.
