Well, even with all the high prices of gas, food, land, electric and water, Honolulu still has a few things going for it. A recent survey found that Honolulu quality of life is number 1 in the nation.
According to a new survey from the investment consulting group Mercer, Honolulu has the highest quality of living nationwide. Every United States city was included.
As if that was not good enough, Honolulu was listed at number 29 worldwide as well. Honolulu edged out other U.S. cities including San Francisco and Boston in Mercer’s annual Quality of Living report, which was came out today.
Vienna earned the top spot for the best living standard in the world. European cities made up the majority of the top 10. Mercer conducts the survey of 420 cities worldwide to help governments and global companies fairly compensate employees on international assignment.
The company evaluates cities in 10 different categories including housing, health and sanitation and natural environment.
Congratulations to Honolulu for having the very best quality of life in the nation. This is just another reason why we are lucky to live Hawaii.
