Walls of Perception will play for free this Sunday at Kam Drive In. The movie will play as part of family movie night at Kam Drive In, which runs from 7pm – 10pm on Sunday, September 4th.
At 7 p.m., the Oxbow’s “Walls of Perception,” movie, which was shot in Hawaii, France, Tahiti, Australia and other locations, kicks off the fun. The film highlights local surfers; including standup paddling world champion Kai Lenny and current Association of Surfing Professionals world longboard champion Duane DeSoto. Kai Lenny and Matt Meola will be on hand to sign autographs.
At 8:15 p.m., “Soul Surfer” will screen. The movie is based on the story of local teen surfer Bethany Hamilton, who lost her arm in a shark attack. The movie was a success at the box office, combining a powerful true story with an excellent message.

Gates open at 5:30 p.m.; $10 parking fee (a maximum of 8 people per car); $40 donation for priority parking. Proceeds benefit local families in need, the Kid’s Heart Project for Children and tsunami victims in Japan. Call 545-5683.
